We design how a body of work, both text and quantitative data, becomes legible: what counts as an act in it, whose voices are held apart and how it is read, and reread in the world.
Every number we publish reproduces from the record's own bytes, on your machine, offline, to the byte. That is a property of how the thing is built, not a policy you are asked to trust.
We do not interpret. Both custody and interpretation stay with the people whose work they are.
